HisToRy of the Philadelphia
Formed in March 2008, to compete
in a multi-nation football tournament at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, the team grew to become what is now the much adored and lauded PPfc.
The team put together by Imaj E Odetov became an over night success. Their Gentlemanly behaviour on the feild and their madcap antics off , established them as a favourite of the spectators that day, who quickly became fans, so much so the Philadelphia Inquirer gave the side the monica of "the Peoples Players"(a name still fondly used till this day!)
